Winter recession

I had a client ask recently what photographers do in winter during a recession. Like many photographers I know, I took the chance to regroup, recharge, and take some time out with family. Commercial work tends not to be overly seasonal, but other parts of my work peak and through. Luckily at staggered times, and a window of opportunity sprung up earlier this month to make a break.

Hiring a campervan ex Auckland, we all headed to the Coromandel Peninsula. (Kea vans are great by the way. I just love their design and convenience. Wet weather with kids wasn’t much of a problem!). Check out some holiday snaps. It reassures me of the beauty that is NZ. This is in winter, with hardly a soul in sight.
